Carytown is a small village located in Jasper County, Missouri, in the United States. In 2020, about 287 people lived there. It is also part of the larger Joplin area.

History

Carytown got its name from the Cary family, who were the first owners of the land. A post office opened here in 1885. It served the community for several years before closing in 1901.
