Chandler is a city located in Henderson County, Texas, in the United States. It sits at the northern tip of Lake Palestine. In 2020, about 3,275 people lived here. This was more than the 2,734 people who lived in Chandler in 2010.

Exploring Chandler's Location
Chandler is found in the northeast part of Henderson County. Texas State Highway 31 goes right through the middle of the city. This highway can take you about 11 miles east to Tyler. Or, you can travel about 24 miles southwest to Athens, which is the main city for Henderson County.
Chandler covers an area of about 6.2 square miles (16.1 square kilometers). A small part of this area, about 0.1 square miles (0.3 square kilometers), is water. The city is built on higher ground. It is located between two parts of Lake Palestine. These parts are Kickapoo Creek to the west and the Neches River to the east.

- McCain Park is on Highway 31 West. This park is home to the Chandler Historical Museums. You can see the old Yarborough House and the original train depot here.
- River Park is on Highway 31 East. It's a great spot for boating and fishing on the Neches River. You can also enjoy watching birds there.
