Chang Sang (Hangul: 장상) was born on October 3, 1939. She is a well-known academic and politician from South Korea. In July 2002, she briefly became the first woman to be nominated as Prime Minister of South Korea.
The president at the time, Kim Dae-jung, chose her for this important role. A prime minister is a very important leader who helps the president run the country.
