Music Career

How Chapel Hart Started

Sisters Danica and Devynn Hart started singing together in 2014. Their cousin Trea Swindle joined them. At first, they sang cover songs on the streets of New Orleans. This is called busking. Later, they began writing their own songs.

In 2016, Danica Hart and Trea Swindle recorded music as "Hyperphlyy". They released a short album called Made for Me. In 2019, they released the album Out the Mud. Devynn joined them for this album, and it was still called Hyperphlyy. The group also sang at music festivals. They later changed their name to Chapel Hart. They chose this name from a church in their hometown.

Working with a Producer

In 2020, a music producer named Jeff Glixman found them. He became their manager and producer. They released a song called "Jesus & ... " that year. Billy Gibbons from the band ZZ Top played guitar on the song. They also made a music video for it. Billy Gibbons played a pastor in the video. The video was shown on CMT.

Chapel Hart also sang background vocals for the band LeRoux on their 2020 album One of Those Days.

New Songs and Videos

CMT chose Chapel Hart for their "Next Women of Country" program in 2021. This program helps new female country music artists. After this, the group released their second song, "I Will Follow". They made a music video for it, which also aired on CMT.

In March 2021, they released another song and video called "You Can Have Him Jolene". This song is an "answer song" to Dolly Parton's famous song "Jolene". An answer song is a song that responds to another song.

In July 2021, the group announced their second studio album. It was called The Girls Are Back in Town. Jeff Glixman also produced this album. In 2022, they released another song and video, "Made for Me".

America's Got Talent

Agents from the TV show America's Got Talent contacted Chapel Hart. Danica Hart said that the group first said no to being on the show. But the agent kept asking, and they finally agreed.

Chapel Hart made it to the finals of America's Got Talent. They sang their original song "The Girls Are Back in Town". In the finals, they performed a cover of "Something to Talk About" with Darius Rucker. They finished in fifth place on the show.

After America's Got Talent
