Arthur Charles Lestoc Hylton Stewart (born March 21, 1884 – died November 14, 1932) was a talented English musician. He was famous for playing the organ in big churches called cathedrals. He worked at important places like Rochester Cathedral and St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle. He also wrote some music for the organ and for choirs.

Early Life and Education

Arthur Charles Lestoc Hylton Stewart was born in Chester, England, on March 21, 1884. His father, Charles Henry Hylton Stewart, was also a musician. His father worked at Chester Cathedral and used to be the main musician at Chichester Cathedral.

Arthur started his musical journey early. He was a chorister, which means he sang in the choir, at Magdalen College, Oxford. Later, he became an organ scholar at Peterhouse, Cambridge. This means he studied the organ there and often played it for the college. From 1907 to 1908, he taught music at Sedbergh School. In 1917, he married Gladys Maud Priestley Inglis. Arthur Charles Lestoc Hylton Stewart passed away on November 14, 1932.
