Charles Rahmel Jones (born July 17, 1975) is a retired American professional basketball player. He played as a point guard or shooting guard. Charles Jones is known for his amazing scoring skills in college. He also played for famous teams like the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Clippers in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Early Life and College Basketball
Charles Jones grew up in Bedford–Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from Bishop Ford Central Catholic High School in 1993. His brother, Lamont Jones, is also a basketball player.
Jones went to Rutgers University and Long Island University. While playing for Long Island University, he became a scoring superstar. He led the league in scoring twice, in the 1996–97 and 1997–98 seasons. In 1996–97, he averaged an incredible 30.1 points per game. This made him the last player to average over 30 points in a season for many years.
He also finished his senior year as one of the top players in Division I basketball. He was 5th in assists and 9th in steals. He led his conference in points, assists, and steals per game. Charles Jones still holds many school and conference records because of his amazing scoring ability.
Professional Basketball Career
After college, Charles Jones played two seasons in the NBA. He played for the Chicago Bulls in 1998–99 and the Los Angeles Clippers in 1999–2000.
After his time in the NBA, Jones played basketball in many different countries. He played in Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, and Argentina. Even with a fractured shooting hand, he continued to play abroad. He won several important titles during his international career.
