Lo Mutuc (born Charlyne Amanda Yi on January 4, 1986) is an American actor, comedian, musician, and writer. They are famous for playing Dr. Chi Park in the medical TV show House from 2011 to 2012.

Many people also know Lo from their voice acting roles. They voiced the Rubies in the cartoon Steven Universe and Chloe Park in We Bare Bears. They also voiced Alice in Summer Camp Island, Mai in the movie Next Gen, and Larry in the show StuGo.

Lo also writes movies. Their first movie, Paper Heart, won a special screenwriting award at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. As a comedian, Lo's shows are very creative and often include music, magic tricks, and games with the audience.

Early Life and Education

Lo Mutuc grew up in Fontana, California. Their family background is a mix of Filipino, Mexican, and Korean heritage.

Lo was interested in acting from a young age. They were active in the theater program at Bloomington High School. After high school, Lo attended the University of California, Riverside. They later left college to focus on their career in comedy.

Lo began their comedy career performing in Bloomington, California. They later performed at famous theaters in Los Angeles, like The Steve Allen Theater and The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Lo also appeared at big comedy events, including the New York Comedy Festival and HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival.

Film and Television

Lo's first movie role was in the 2007 film Knocked Up. In 2009, they starred in the movie Paper Heart. Lo was also an executive producer and co-writer for this film, which was a mix of a documentary and a fictional story.

From 2011 to 2012, Lo had a major role in the TV series House. They played Dr. Chi Park, a young doctor who had trouble managing her anger.

Lo has also appeared in music videos. They were in the video for the song "Rabbit Habits" by the band Man Man and in the video for "Song Away" by the band Hockey.

Music Career

Lo is also a talented musician. They formed the band The Glass Beef with Paul Rust. In 2006, the band released their first album, The Farewell Album. Later, in 2013, Lo started another band called Sacred Destinies with Jet Elfman.

Charity Work

Since 2010, Lo has worked with the organization Oxfam America. This group works to fight poverty and hunger around the world. In 2011, Lo started their own non-profit organization called Caring is Cool. They even hosted a special show to raise money for it.

Personal Life

Lo describes their gender identity as genderfluid, which means their gender is not fixed. They use they/them pronouns.
