Chief Logan State Park is a huge park in Logan County, West Virginia. It covers almost 4,000 acres! You can find it about 4 miles north of the town of Logan. The park, the town, and the county are all named after a famous Native American leader called Chief Logan. He was a Mingo chief who lived in this area a long time ago, even before the American Revolutionary War.

Every summer, the park's Liz Spurlock Amphitheater hosts exciting outdoor plays. One of the most popular is "The Aracoma Story." This play tells the history of the Shawnee people who once lived where the town of Logan is today. The theater also puts on other fun plays and musicals throughout the year.

The park is also home to the Chief Logan Lodge and Conference Center. This modern lodge opened in 2006. It has an indoor pool, a fishing pond, and a recreation center. The recreation center offers weights, exercise machines, sports courts, and even an Olympic-sized indoor swimming pool!
