Chill Manor is an exciting educational video game made for computers running on DOS. It helps kids learn history in a fun way! This game is a follow-up to another game called I.M. Meen. It has a similar style of play, where you explore and solve puzzles. The voice of Ophelia Chill was done by Chloe Leamon, and Peter Berkrot returned to voice I.M. Meen.
Game Story: Saving History!
The adventure begins when a tricky character named Ophelia Chill gets her hands on the magical Book of Ages. She's connected to the evil magician I.M. Meen. Ophelia tears out all the important pages from the book. This lets her change history however she wants! It's a big problem because history could become totally mixed up.
To fix this mess, four brave children are chosen. Your mission is to travel through different time periods. You must put history back to normal by finding and correcting all the mistakes Ophelia made.
How to Play: Journey Through Time
In Chill Manor, you will explore 8 different time periods, which the game calls "epochs." Think of these as big chapters in history. Each of these epochs has four levels for you to play through.
Your main goal in each level is to find special scrolls. These scrolls contain history mistakes that Ophelia Chill created. You need to fix these errors to restore the correct historical facts. As you play, you'll learn about different times and events.
At the end of every fourth level, you'll face a big challenge. You must defeat a powerful boss monster. Once you beat the boss, you complete that epoch and can move on to a new time period. This means more history to learn and more mistakes to correct!
