Choi In-young is a famous former South Korean football player. He was born on March 5, 1962. He played as a goalkeeper, which is the player who tries to stop the ball from going into the goal.
He spent most of his playing career with Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i. Choi In-young also played for the South Korea national football team. He represented his country in two FIFA World Cup tournaments. These were in 1990 and 1994. He stopped playing for the national team after the 1994 World Cup. His last match was against Germany in very hot weather in Dallas.

Choi In-young started his football journey in South Korea. He played for Seoul City as an amateur from 1981 to 1983. After that, he joined Kookmin Bank FC in 1983.
His longest time as a player was with Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i. He played for them from 1984 until 1996. He was a very important player for his team during these years.
Coaching Football
After he stopped playing, Choi In-young became a coach. He specialized in coaching goalkeepers. He worked as a goalkeeper coach for several teams.
He coached at Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i from 1997 to 2003. Later, he coached at Kyungil University in 2005. His last coaching role was with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. He coached there from 2006 until 2013.
