Choi Jin-cheul (born March 26, 1971) is a South Korean football manager and a former player. He was known for being a strong centre-back during his playing days. He played for only one professional club, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, throughout his career.

Club Career Highlights
Choi Jin-cheul spent his entire professional playing career with the K League club Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. He played in 312 games for Jeonbuk in the K League and the Korean League Cup. He was a very strong player, especially good at winning the ball in the air.
Even though he was a defender, Choi sometimes played as a striker (a player who tries to score goals). This happened when Jeonbuk's main striker was on loan to another team. During this time, he scored 17 goals and made 8 assists. He even scored three goals in one game, which is called a hat-trick!
In 2006, Choi helped his team win the AFC Champions League, which is a big football tournament for clubs in Asia. Because of his great performance, he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament.
International Career Highlights
Choi Jin-cheul was a very important centre-back for the South Korea national team. He played in 65 matches for his country.
He was part of the South Korean team that played in the 2002 FIFA World Cup and the 2006 FIFA World Cup. In the 2002 World Cup, he formed a very strong defense with two other famous players, Hong Myung-bo and Kim Tae-young.

In November 2021, Choi Jin-cheul signed with DH Entertainment. This means he joined an agency that helps manage his public appearances and activities.
