Christopher Gloster (born July 28, 2000) is an American professional soccer player. He plays as a left-back for the USL Championship club New Mexico United. A left-back is a defender who plays on the left side of the field.

Chris Gloster's Soccer Journey
Chris Gloster grew up in Montclair, New Jersey. He started his professional soccer journey at a young age.
Early Career and First Steps
Chris made his first professional appearance for New York Red Bulls II on August 13, 2016. He was only 16 years and 16 days old at the time. This made him the youngest American player to start a game in the USL league.
In March 2018, Chris moved to Germany to play for the club Hannover 96. He had tried out for several German clubs before signing with them.
Playing for Jong PSV
On August 9, 2019, Chris joined Jong PSV. This team is the reserve squad for PSV Eindhoven, a famous club in the Netherlands. He signed a three-year contract with them.
Time with New York City FC
On March 22, 2021, Chris returned to the United States. He joined Major League Soccer (MLS) club New York City FC. His rights as a "homegrown player" were bought from his former club, New York Red Bulls.
Later in 2021, on May 31, Chris was loaned to Sacramento Republic FC. This team plays in the USL Championship. A loan means he played for Sacramento for a short time before returning to New York City FC.
In February 2023, New York City FC decided to end Chris's contract with the club.
Joining New Mexico United
Chris Gloster joined the USL Championship club New Mexico United on January 16, 2024. He continues to play as a left-back for the team.
International Play for the United States
Chris has also played for different United States national youth teams.
- He played for the United States U17 team from 2016 to 2017.
- In April 2017, he was part of the U17 team for the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Championship.
