Christopher Gloster (born July 28, 2000) is an American professional soccer player. He plays as a left-back, which is a defender position, for the USL Championship club New Mexico United.

Chris Gloster's Soccer Journey
Chris Gloster grew up in Montclair, New Jersey. He went to Montclair High School there. Chris started his professional soccer career very early. On August 13, 2016, he played his first game for Red Bull II against Orlando City B. He was only 16 years and 16 days old! This made him the youngest American to ever start a game in the USL league.
In March 2018, Chris moved to Germany. He signed with the German club Hannover after trying out with a few teams there.
On August 9, 2019, Gloster joined a Dutch team called Jong PSV. This team is the reserve squad for PSV Eindhoven. He signed a three-year contract with them.
Playing for New York City FC
On March 22, 2021, Chris Gloster came back to the United States. He joined the Major League Soccer (MLS) club New York City FC. His rights as a "homegrown player" were bought from his old club, the New York Red Bulls.
On May 31, 2021, Chris was loaned to USL Championship team Sacramento Republic. This meant he played for Sacramento for a short time.
On February 17, 2023, New York City FC decided to end Chris's contract with the club.
Joining New Mexico United
Chris Gloster joined the USL Championship club New Mexico United on January 16, 2024. He continues his professional soccer career with this team.
Chris Gloster's National Team Career
Chris has also played for different United States national youth teams.
- In April 2017, he was chosen for the United States team for the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Championship.
- He also played for the United States U17 team in the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India.
- He has played for the United States U19, U20, and U23 national teams as well.
