Christopher "Chris" Livingston (born October 15, 2003) is an American professional basketball player. He plays for the Wisconsin Herd in the NBA G League. He is also assigned to the Milwaukee Bucks in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Before turning pro, Chris played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats. He was considered one of the best young players in his age group.

Chris Livingston's Early Life and High School Basketball

Chris Livingston grew up in Akron, Ohio. He started playing basketball when he was just five years old. As a freshman, he played for Buchtel Community Learning Center in Akron. He scored 24.7 points per game. He also grabbed 5.2 rebounds and blocked 1.8 shots per game. Chris helped his team reach the state final four for the first time since 1997. He also became the highest-scoring freshman in his school's history.

For his sophomore year, Chris moved to Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio. In one game, he scored an amazing 50 points. He also had 20 rebounds, eight steals, and five blocks. This helped his team win 76–65. As a sophomore, he averaged 32.5 points and 12.4 rebounds per game. He was named to the MaxPreps Sophomore All-American first team.

Chris returned to Buchtel for his junior year in the 2020–21 season.

Becoming a Top College Recruit

Chris Livingston was a highly sought-after player for college basketball. Experts called him a "five-star recruit." This means he was one of the very best players in the 2022 class. He received many scholarship offers even before high school. For example, Ohio State offered him a spot when he was only 14.

On September 15, 2021, Chris decided where he would play college basketball. He chose to play for the Kentucky Wildcats. He picked Kentucky over offers from Georgetown and Tennessee State.

Chris Livingston's Professional Basketball Career

The Milwaukee Bucks picked Chris Livingston in the 2023 NBA draft. He was the 58th and last pick in the draft. On July 9, 2023, he officially signed a contract with the Bucks.

During his first two seasons, Chris has often played for the Wisconsin Herd. The Herd is a team in the NBA G League. Players are sometimes sent to the G League to get more playing time. This helps them develop their skills.

Playing for Team USA

Chris Livingston has also played basketball for the United States national team. He played in the 2019 FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship. This tournament was held in Belém, Brazil.

He led his team to win the gold medal. In the final game against Canada, Chris scored 23 points. He also had six rebounds and two assists. The U.S. team won 94–77. Chris was named the tournament's most valuable player (MVP). He was also chosen for the all-tournament team.

Chris Livingston's Personal Life

Chris Livingston has a twin brother named Cordell. Cordell also plays basketball. They were teammates in high school at Oak Hill Academy, Buchtel, and Western Reserve Academy.
