Christopher Michael Livingston (born October 15, 2003) is an American professional basketball player. He plays for the Milwaukee Bucks in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Before joining the NBA, he played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats. Chris was considered one of the top young players in the 2022 class.

Chris Livingston's Early Life and High School Journey
Chris Livingston was born and grew up in Akron, Ohio. He started playing competitive basketball when he was just five years old.
High School Basketball Achievements
As a freshman, Chris played for Buchtel Community Learning Center in Akron. He scored about 24.7 points and grabbed 5.2 rebounds per game. He helped his team reach the state final four for the first time since 1997. Chris also became the highest-scoring freshman in his school's history.
For his sophomore year, he moved to Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio. In one amazing game, Chris scored 50 points, got 20 rebounds, made eight steals, and blocked five shots. This helped his team win 76–65. During that sophomore season, he averaged 32.5 points and 12.4 rebounds per game. He was named one of the best sophomores in the country by MaxPreps.
Chris returned to Buchtel for his junior year. He continued to play incredibly well, averaging 31.1 points and 15.8 rebounds per game. In his senior year, he played for Oak Hill Academy. There, he averaged 18.2 points and 9.1 rebounds per game.
Becoming a Top College Recruit
Chris Livingston was a highly sought-after player by colleges. He was considered a "five-star recruit," meaning he was one of the very best players in his age group. He received many scholarship offers even before high school. When he was 14, Ohio State offered him a scholarship. On September 15, 2021, Chris decided to play college basketball for Kentucky. He chose Kentucky over offers from Georgetown and Tennessee State.

Chris Livingston's College Career at Kentucky
As a freshman at Kentucky during the 2022–23 season, Chris played in 34 games. He started in 26 of those games. On average, he scored 6.3 points and grabbed 4.2 rebounds per game. His strong performance earned him a spot on the Southeastern Conference All-Freshman Team.
Chris Livingston's Professional Career in the NBA
Joining the Milwaukee Bucks
In the 2023 NBA draft, the Milwaukee Bucks picked Chris Livingston as the 58th and final player. On July 9, 2023, he officially signed a contract with the Bucks.
During his first two seasons, Chris also spent time playing for the Wisconsin Herd. The Herd is the Bucks' team in the NBA G League, which is like a development league for the NBA. This helps players get more game experience.
Chris was waived by the Bucks on July 2, 2025, but he re-signed with the team on July 16, 2025.
Playing for Team USA
Chris Livingston has also represented the United States in international competitions. He played in the 2019 FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship in Brazil.
He led his team to win the gold medal. In the final game against Canada, Chris scored 23 points. He was named the tournament's most valuable player (MVP) and was part of the all-tournament team.
