Chris Pontius (born July 16, 1974) is an American stunt performer and television personality. He is well-known for being a cast member of the comedy show Jackass. He also co-hosted its spin-off show, Wildboyz, with his friend and fellow cast member Steve-O.

Early Life and Career Beginnings
Chris Pontius was born on July 16, 1974, in Pasadena, California. He grew up in San Luis Obispo. When he was a teenager, he met people who would later work with him on Jackass. This happened when he was interviewed for a skateboarding magazine called Big Brother.
Pontius later started writing for Big Brother magazine. He then became part of the Jackass cast right from its very first episode in the year 2000.
