Early Life and Education
Ryan Dunn was born in Medina, Ohio. He grew up in Williamsville, New York. Later, he moved to West Chester, Pennsylvania. There, he attended West Chester East High School. On his first day of school, he met Bam Margera, who would also become a star on Jackass.
Ryan Dunn's Career

Ryan Dunn was a big part of the stunts that made Jackass famous. He appeared in five Jackass movies: Jackass: The Movie, Jackass Number Two, Jackass 2.5, Jackass 3D, and Jackass 3.5.
In 2006, Ryan and Bam Margera took part in the Gumball 3000 road rally. They drove Bam's Lamborghini Gallardo. Ryan later went on a tour with Don Vito. It was called "The Dunn and Vito Rock Tour." A DVD of the tour was released in 2007. Ryan and Bam joined the rally again in 2008.
In December 2008, Ryan Dunn was on an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He also appeared in the movie Street Dreams, which came out in 2009. He acted alongside Rob Dyrdek and Paul Rodriguez Jr. Ryan was also featured in a show with Bam Margera. It was like Viva la Bam but showed them traveling through Europe. This show was called Bam's World Domination for Spike. He was also in Jackass 3D, released in October 2010.
Ryan Dunn co-hosted G4's Proving Ground with Jessica Chobot. The show started on June 14, 2011. This was just six days before he passed away. G4 decided to pause new episodes after his death. However, they later aired the remaining episodes starting July 19, 2011. When he died, Ryan was working on a movie called Welcome to the Bates Motel. This movie was later renamed The Bates Haunting and came out in 2013.
Personal Life
From 2002 until his death, Ryan was in a long relationship with Angie Cuturic. She had roles in Bam Margera's movies Haggard: The Movie and Minghags. Ryan had several tattoos of Angie.
During the filming of Jackass Number Two in 2006, Ryan hurt his shoulder. This happened during a stunt where he and Bam Margera were pulled by a running horse. Ryan landed on his shoulder, causing a serious injury that needed medical attention. While getting treatment, he also dealt with Lyme disease. He took a break from public life for almost two years. He did not take part in Jackassworld.com: 24 Hour Takeover or other events related to the shows and movies. He later returned to the Jackass cast for Jackass 3D and Jackass 3.5. He said he was happy to be back and enjoyed working on Jackass 3D more than any other film.
