College Career at UConn
Smith played college basketball at the University of Connecticut. He was part of the UConn Huskies team from 1988 to 1992. During his four years, he scored 2,145 points. This was an all-time record for the Huskies. He also set a record in the Big East Conference with 1,140 points.
Chris Smith also led the team in three-point shots. He made 242 three-pointers in his college career. He was one of only two UConn players to score at least 500 points in three different seasons.
