Cindy O'Callaghan was born on October 18, 1956, in Ireland. She is a British psychologist and used to be an actress. Her acting career started when she was a teenager. She was chosen to play Carrie Rawlins in the Disney movie Bedknobs and Broomsticks in 1971. Cindy appeared in many television shows and films after that. She was also in the BBC show EastEnders several times in the 1990s. Her last acting role was in 2001. After that, she stopped acting to become a child psychologist.

Cindy played this role from 1994 to 1995 and again in 1999. This was actually her second time on EastEnders. She had previously played a character named Stella from 1989 to 1990.
Becoming a Psychologist
Cindy O'Callaghan went to university in 2000. By 2004, it was reported that she had stopped acting. She decided to become a child psychologist instead. This means she helps children with their thoughts and feelings.
Even after becoming a psychologist, Cindy did appear on television one more time. In 2005, she was in a documentary called The 100 Greatest Family Films. She talked about the movie Bedknobs and Broomsticks with her co-stars Angela Lansbury and Ian Weighill. Ian Weighill played Charlie Rawlins in the film.
