Circling Raven Golf Club is a famous 18-hole golf course in Idaho, in the northwest United States. It is located near a town called Worley. In 2015, Golf Digest magazine said it was the third best public golf course in Idaho.
The Coeur d'Alene Tribe owns and runs this golf club. It first opened in the summer of 2003. Before the golf course, a casino opened in 1993 and a hotel in 2001 on the same land. The course is named after an important tribal chief from the 1700s. He was known for his vision and leadership.
A designer from Florida named Gene Bates created the golf course. From the longest tees, the course is about 7,189 yards (6,574 m) long. It has a "course rating" of 74.1 and a "slope rating" of 144. These numbers help golfers know how hard a course is.
The land where the course is built is very interesting. It has rolling fields, forests, and wet areas. It sits about 2,600 feet (790 m) above sea level. The golf course covers more than 600 acres (2.4 km2) of land. There is also a large practice area that is 25 acres (10 ha) big.
