Clarksdale is a small city in DeKalb County, Missouri, in the United States. It is located near the Little Third Fork of the Platte River. In 2020, about 245 people lived there. Clarksdale is part of the larger St. Joseph Metropolitan Area.

History of Clarksdale
Clarksdale was officially planned and mapped out in 1885. This happened when the railroad tracks were extended to reach this area. The town was named after John F. Clark, who owned the land where the city was built. A post office has been open in Clarksdale since 1886.
