Clear Hills County is a special type of area in northwestern Alberta, Canada. It is called a municipal district. This means it is a large rural area with its own local government.
The county is part of Census Division 17. This division helps organize how people are counted in Canada.
A very large forest fire, called the Chinchaga fire, happened in this region in 1950. It burned through a lot of the land.
The area officially became Clear Hills County on January 1, 2006. Before that, it was known as the Municipal District of Clear Hills No. 21.

In the year 2021, a count by Statistics Canada showed that 3,006 people lived in Clear Hills County. These people lived in 930 homes.
