Clifton Junior Anderson (born November 25, 1929 – died March 16, 1979) was an American football player. He played as an end in the National Football League (NFL). Cliff Anderson played for two teams during his career. These teams were the Chicago Cardinals and the New York Giants.
Cliff Anderson's Football Journey
Cliff Anderson started his football journey in high school. He went to Cape May High School in Cape May, New Jersey. After high school, he continued to play football in college. He played for Indiana University Bloomington.
Playing in the NFL
In 1952, Cliff Anderson was chosen in the 1952 NFL Draft. The Chicago Cardinals picked him in the 25th round. He played for the Cardinals for two seasons. In 1953, he also played for the New York Giants.
