Clinton is a small community known as a village in the state of Ohio, United States. It is located in the southwestern part of Summit County. In 2020, about 1,197 people lived there. Clinton is also part of the larger Akron metropolitan area.

The village of Clinton has a history stretching back to 1816. When it was first planned, it had a different name: Savannah.

Clinton is located right next to the Tuscarawas River. This river is an important natural feature of the area.
The village covers a total area of about 3.64 square miles (9.43 square kilometers). Most of this area, about 3.55 square miles (9.19 square kilometers), is land. The rest, about 0.09 square miles (0.23 square kilometers), is water.
