Colbert is a small community in Spokane County, Washington, United States. It's not a city with its own government, but rather an unincorporated community. This means it's part of the larger county area. You can find Colbert north of the city of Spokane, right on U.S. Route 2.

The community was first called Dragoon. Later, its name was changed to Colbert to honor Harry Colbert, who was an early postmaster there. The post office opened in 1890 as Dragoon, and the name switched to Colbert in 1902. Each year, the Spokane Renaissance Faire takes place in a field in Colbert, which is a fun event for everyone.
