The Story of Coldwater
Coldwater was started way back in 1838. It was first called Buzzard's Glory. This name came from David Buzzard, who ran a general store there.
The village was officially planned out in 1859. It got its current name from a nearby stream called Coldwater Creek. People have been sending mail from a post office in Coldwater since 1847.
