Comcast Technology Center: A Giant in Philadelphia
This amazing building has 60 floors and stands incredibly tall at about 342 meters (1,121 feet). It is the tallest building in Philadelphia and all of Pennsylvania! It is also one of the ten tallest buildings in the entire United States. In fact, it's the tallest building outside of big cities like Manhattan in New York and Chicago.
What's Inside This Supertall Building?
The Comcast Technology Center is not just an office building. It's a mix of many different spaces. Inside, you can find offices for the company Comcast. There is also a fancy hotel, a restaurant, and even television studios! It also has shops and a parking garage.
Who Built This Amazing Skyscraper?
The building was designed by a famous architect company called Foster and Partners. Another company, Kendall/Heaton Associates, also helped. The main owner of the building is Comcast, along with Liberty Property Trust. Construction started in 2014 and the building was finished in 2018. It cost about 1.5 billion US dollars to build!
