Conan and the Young Warriors is an exciting animated TV show from 1994. It was made by Sunbow Entertainment and shown on CBS. This series is a follow-up to another popular show, Conan the Adventurer. However, it introduces many new characters, except for Conan himself.

The show was created by Michael Reaves and directed by John Grusd. It only ran for one season, with a total of 13 episodes.

Discover the Story of Conan and the Young Warriors

This animated series continues the adventures of Conan. After defeating the evil Wrath-Amon, Conan thought his big quest was over. His family was finally safe and sound. But a new challenge quickly appeared!

Now, Conan has a very important job. He must train and protect three special young heroes. These heroes are known as the "Chosen Ones." They each have magical "star stones" that give them amazing powers. Conan's mission is to guide them until they are ready to rule the land of Hyboria.

Connecting to the Original Conan Series

Even though this show has new characters, it still has some cool links to the first Conan the Adventurer series. Conan's look is exactly the same. You might even hear some familiar music from the original show sometimes.

There are also small nods to the past. For example, a character once used a special sign to call animals, just like a character named Zulu did before. Conan also talks about a wizard and a "firebird" he knew, hinting at his earlier adventures. Plus, his powerful sword is made of "star metal," a key detail from the first series.

Meet the Brave Characters

The show features a mix of familiar faces and new heroes. Each character plays a vital role in the quest to protect Hyboria.

Conan and His Allies

  • Conan (voiced by Phil Hayes) – Conan is the strong and brave hero you know. In this series, his main task is to mentor the three Chosen Ones. He helps them learn how to use their powers and prepare for their future roles.
  • Epimetrius the Sage – This wise character is the only other person from Conan the Adventurer to appear here. Epimetrius is the one who picked Draegen, Brynne, and Navah to be the users of the star stones. He helps Conan guide the young heroes.

The Chosen Ones and Their Powers

  • Draegen (voiced by Mark Hildreth) – Draegen is the oldest of the Chosen Ones. He grew up in a place called Aquilonia. His special star stone is on his bandana. When he uses it, he can magically put on a suit of super strong armor that nothing can break!
  • Brynne (voiced by Kelly Sheridan) – Brynne is the middle Chosen One. She used to be a clever thief in a city called Shadizar. Her star stone is a jewel on her ring. This stone lets her create amazing illusions, making things appear that aren't really there.
  • Navah (voiced by Chiara Zanni) – Navah is the youngest of the Chosen Ones, only eight years old. He comes from the Pict Eagle tribe. His star stone is in a pendant he wears. With it, he can control animals, especially his loyal mongoose named Tiki.

The Villains They Face

  • Sulinara (voiced by Kathleen Barr) – Sulinara is the main villain of the series. She is a powerful sorceress who is part-Serpent Man. She wants all the star stones for herself so she can rule Hyboria. She will do anything to get them!
  • Graak (voiced by Michael Donovan) – Graak is a winged demon who helps Sulinara. He tries to steal the star stones for her. However, he has a weakness: he cannot touch the star stones or Conan's special star metal sword.

Exciting Episodes of Adventure

The series is packed with thrilling adventures as Conan and the young warriors face many dangers. Here are some of the exciting stories:
