Constance Marie Lopez is an American actress. She is famous for her roles in popular TV shows and movies. You might know her as Angelina "Angie" Lopez in the TV series George Lopez. She also played Marcela Quintanilla, the mother of singer Selena, in the movie Selena. Constance Marie also starred as Regina Vasquez in the drama series Switched at Birth. Later, she played Camila Diaz in the animated drama series Undone.

Early Life of Constance Marie
Constance Marie was born and grew up in East Los Angeles. When she was 19, she worked as a dancer in a musical in Japan. After returning to Los Angeles, a dance choreographer named Toni Basil discovered her. Toni Basil hired Constance to dance for David Bowie's "Glass Spider Tour" in 1987. She even appeared in the concert video from that tour.
Constance Marie's Acting Career
Constance Marie started acting when she was a teenager. Her first film role was in Salsa in 1988. She appeared in many other TV shows and films. Some of these include Early Edition, Dirty Dancing, Spin City, and Ally McBeal.
One of her most famous roles was Angie Lopez in the ABC comedy series George Lopez. In 2001, she also starred in the movie Tortilla Soup. She was also part of the PBS drama series American Family.
In 2007, Constance Marie started her own clothing line. It was called "The Constance Marie Collection". In the same year, she appeared in an advertisement for PETA. This ad encouraged people to take care of their pets.
From 2011 to 2017, Constance Marie had a main role in the series Switched at Birth. She played Regina Vasquez. Regina was the birth mother of one of the main characters. She was also the legal mother of the other main character.
