Peter Cory Pankey, Jr. (born June 22, 1987), known as Cory Gunz, is an American rapper from the Bronx, New York City. He is famous for his part in Lil Wayne's song "6 Foot 7 Foot" from 2010. This song was very popular, reaching number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also sold millions of copies.
Cory Gunz signed with Lil Wayne's music label, Young Money Entertainment, in 2010. He also starred in a TV show called Son of a Gun in 2011. This show was about his life and was presented by his mentor, the comedian Nick Cannon.

Music Career
Cory Gunz started his music career at a young age. When he was 14, he signed his first record deals with Casablanca Records and Def Jam Recordings. He even worked with famous artists like Jay-Z.
He was featured on a remix of Rihanna's song "If It's Lovin' That You Want". Cory Gunz has released many mixtapes, which are like free albums. One of his mixtapes, The Apprentice 3 – Season Finale, was listened to over 85,000 times online.
