Coswig is a friendly town in Germany, located in the state of Saxony. It sits on the right side of the Elbe River. Coswig is about 9 kilometers (about 5.6 miles) southeast of the city of Meißen and 13 kilometers (about 8 miles) northwest of Dresden.

This town is home to a special hospital called Fachkrankenhaus Coswig. This hospital is known for its work in thoracic surgery, which means they help people with problems in their chest and lungs.
