Where is Cottonwood Shores?
Cottonwood Shores is located in the southwestern part of Burnet County. It sits right on the south bank of the Colorado River. This is just below where Lake Lyndon B. Johnson lets out its water.
The city is about 4 miles (6.4 km) southwest of Marble Falls. It's also about 17 miles (27 km) southwest of Burnet, which is the main town of the county. If you travel further, it's about 50 miles (80 km) west of downtown Austin.
