Craig Roberts is a talented actor and director from Wales. He was born on January 21, 1991. Many people know him for his main roles in the movie Submarine (2010) and the TV show Red Oaks (2014–2017). He also played Rio Wellard in the popular children's TV series The Story of Tracy Beaker from 2004 to 2006.

Early Life and Growing Up

Craig Roberts was born in Newport, Wales. He grew up in a place called Maesycwmmer in Caerphilly. He went to school at Lewis School, Pengam. Craig has a sister named Chelsea. He also has two half-sisters, Natalee and Angharad.

Craig's Acting Journey

Craig Roberts started acting on TV when he was young. His first roles were in dramas like Care (2000) and Little Pudding (2003). After that, he got roles in some well-known TV shows.

Early TV Roles

From 2004 to 2006, Craig played Rio Wellard in The Story of Tracy Beaker. He also appeared in Casualty from 2005 to 2008. He played a character who loved vampires, Robin Branagh, in Young Dracula (2006–2008). He also acted in short dramas like Kiddo (2005) and Scratching (2006).

In 2016, Craig starred in the film The Fundamentals of Caring with Paul Rudd. He played Trevor, an 18-year-old with a muscle condition. The movie was shown at the Sundance Film Festival and released on Netflix.

In 2019, Craig appeared in the movie Horrible Histories: The Movie – Rotten Romans. He played the famous Roman Emperor Nero. He also directed the film Eternal Beauty in 2019 and The Phantom of the Open in 2021.
