The Pioneer Days celebration usually includes a play called a Melodrama, which is put on by local people. This play starts on Thursday evening and has two more shows on Saturday. On Friday evening, there's a special auction to raise money, a baking contest, and a tasty BBQ dinner. Saturday is packed with activities like craft booths, horseshoe throwing, and even funny outhouse races! The big finish is the fireworks display on Saturday night at Crawford State Park.
