Cristóbal Colón de Carvajal y Gorosábel (born October 4, 1949) is a Spanish nobleman and businessman. He is also a former officer and helicopter pilot in the Spanish Navy. He holds many important titles, including the 18th Duke of Veragua. He is a direct descendant of the famous explorer Christopher Columbus. His family line comes through Christopher's son, Diego. Since 1986, he has held the title of Duke of Veragua. This title is linked to the Veraguas Province in Panama today. Because of this, he has strong ties with Panama.
