The Crosby station is an old train station in Crosby, Minnesota, USA. It opened in 1910. This station is special because it helped bring goods and people to the area. It also helped send out iron ore when the region was growing fast. In 1980, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. This means it's an important historical place.

Today, the building is home to the Cuyuna Range Museum. This museum is run by the Cuyuna Iron Range Heritage Network.

A Busy Train Hub

The Crosby station was first a train stop for the Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste. Marie Railway. This company later became known as the Soo Line Railroad in 1961. The station was built between 1908 and 1910. It was part of a big plan to create a train line. This line connected Superior, Wisconsin, to Thief River Falls, Minnesota. A special branch of this line went through Crosby. This branch helped reach the Cuyuna Range iron mines. Trains carried iron ore from these mines.
