Cultana is a place found on the northeastern side of the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. It's a very large area, much bigger than the original small settlement. A big part of Cultana is used by the Australian Army as a training ground called the Cultana Training Area. This area is located along the Lincoln Highway and the road from Iron Knob to Whyalla. It is also bordered by the Eyre Highway to the east of Iron Knob.

What is Cultana?
Cultana is a large area in South Australia. It's known for being home to an important training area for the Australian Army. This means soldiers practice different skills and exercises there.
Where is Cultana located?
Cultana is on the northeastern part of the Eyre Peninsula. This peninsula is a large piece of land surrounded by water on three sides. Cultana is close to the Spencer Gulf, which is a large inlet of the ocean.

The original Cultana area
Before 2014, the area known as Cultana was much smaller. It was located near where the Port Bonython Road meets the Lincoln Highway. This smaller area also included a place called Tregalana Park.
Changes to the locality
In September 2014, the original small Cultana area was officially made part of a nearby place called Whyalla Barson. This change meant that the name "Cultana" now refers to a much larger region, especially the one that includes the Army's training grounds.
