D'Iberville is a city in Harrison County, Mississippi, in the United States. It is located just north of Biloxi, across the Back Bay. In 2020, about 12,721 people lived there. D'Iberville is part of the larger Gulfport-Biloxi Metropolitan Area.

Why the City is Called D'Iberville

The city is named after a Canadian explorer. His name was Pierre Le Moyne d'Iberville. He first came to this area in 1699. Almost 300 years later, D'Iberville officially became a city in 1988.

Hurricane Katrina's Impact
