Dacoury Dahi Natche (born March 10, 1983), known as Dahi or DJ Dahi, is an American music producer, songwriter, DJ, and singer. He is from Inglewood, California. Dahi mostly works on hip hop and R&B music.
He has helped create many popular songs. These include "Money Trees" by Kendrick Lamar and "Worst Behavior" by Drake. Dahi also sang for the first time on Kendrick Lamar's song "Loyalty" in 2018, which he also produced. In 2020, Dahi won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Song for his work on "A Lot" by 21 Savage. He has also been nominated for other Grammy Awards, like Album of the Year and Best Rap Album. Besides his solo work, Dahi is part of a production group called D.R.U.G.$.

Dahi learned how to be a DJ while he was studying at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He studied Film and American studies there. After college, he moved back to Los Angeles in 2007. He started working with local rappers like Pac Div and Fashawn.
Dahi also worked with Dom Kennedy and ScHoolboy Q. His first big success came in 2012 with the song "Money Trees". This song was on Kendrick Lamar's very popular album Good Kid, M.A.A.D City. This album was nominated for many awards, including a Grammy for Album of the Year. The song "Money Trees" was even called one of the best instrumentals by Complex magazine.
In 2013, Dahi produced "Worst Behavior" for Drake. This song became popular on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The next year, he helped produce the song "I Don't ... with You" by Big Sean. This song reached the top of the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hiphop songs chart. It also sold millions of copies, earning an 8x Platinum award.
Dahi also wrote and produced five songs for Madonna's album Rebel Heart in 2015. That same year, he helped produce three songs on the album Compton: A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre.

In 2016, Dahi helped produce "U with Me?" for Drake's album Views. This album earned him another Grammy nomination for Album of the Year. He also thought about releasing his own album called The Good Seed, but it didn't come out that year.
Dahi worked with Kendrick Lamar again in 2017. He produced five songs on Lamar's album, including "Loyalty" with Rihanna and "XXX" with U2. This album won many awards, including a Pulitzer Prize for Music. It also won the Best Rap Album at the 2018 Grammy Awards. In 2020, Rolling Stone magazine listed this album as one of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
In 2018, Dahi produced two songs for 21 Savage's album I Am Greater than I Was. One of these songs, "a lot," won him the 2020 Grammy Award for Rap Song of the Year.
In 2019, Dahi worked with the indie pop band Vampire Weekend on their album Father of the Bride. He helped produce the song "Big Blue," which was popular on the US Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. He also helped produce the 2020 Childish Gambino album 3.15.20. This album included songs like "Time" with Ariana Grande.
In 2021, Dahi produced "Gravity". This was a song by Brent Faiyaz and Dahi himself, featuring Tyler, the Creator. It became a hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and sold enough copies to be certified Platinum.
Dahi teamed up with Kendrick Lamar once more in 2022. He helped produce five songs for the album Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers. This album was nominated for Album of the Year and won Best Rap Album at the 2023 Grammy Awards. Dahi was also nominated for Producer of the Year for his work on this album. He was also recognized for his work on Gemini Rights by Steve Lacy and Ramona Park Broke My Heart by Vince Staples.
In 2023, Dahi appeared in a documentary film called Anthem. In the film, Dahi and composer Kris Bowers went on a musical road trip across the United States. They wanted to imagine new ways to play the national anthem. The film was shown for the first time at the Tribeca Festival in June 2023.
