Dacoury Dahi Natche (born March 10, 1983), who is known by his stage name DJ Dahi, is an American record producer, songwriter, and DJ from Inglewood, California. He is famous for creating the beats and sounds for popular hip hop and R&B songs.

Dahi is a Grammy Award winner. He has won for Best Rap Song and has been nominated for major awards like Album of the Year. Besides working on his own, he is also part of a production group called D.R.U.G.$.

Musical Career
Getting Started
Dahi first learned how to be a DJ while he was in college at the University of California, Santa Cruz. After he graduated in 2007, he moved back to Los Angeles. There, he began working with local rappers like Pac Div and Dom Kennedy.
His big break came in 2012 when he produced the song "Money Trees" for Kendrick Lamar's famous album, Good Kid, M.A.A.D City. The album was a huge success and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Album of the Year. The beat for "Money Trees" was praised as one of the best of its time.
Becoming a Star Producer
After the success of "Money Trees," Dahi became a go-to producer for many top artists. In 2013, he produced "Worst Behavior" for Drake. .....
In 2015, his career grew even more. He worked with pop superstar Madonna on her album Rebel Heart. He also produced three songs on the album Compton: A Soundtrack by the legendary Dr. Dre. That same year, he worked with Vince Staples on his album Summertime '06.
Working with Kendrick Lamar
Dahi and Kendrick Lamar have worked together many times. In 2017, Dahi produced five songs on Lamar's album ..... This album won a Pulitzer Prize for Music, which is a very rare honor for a hip hop album. It also won the Grammy for Best Rap Album.
They teamed up again in 2022 for the album Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers. Dahi co-produced five tracks on this album, which also won the Grammy for Best Rap Album. Because of his great work on this and other albums, Dahi was nominated for Producer of the Year at the Grammys.
Recent Projects
Dahi continues to work with a wide variety of artists. In 2019, he worked with the indie pop band Vampire Weekend. In 2020, he co-produced most of the Childish Gambino album 3.15.20.
In 2020, he won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Song for producing "a lot" by 21 Savage. In 2023, Dahi was featured in a documentary film called Anthem. In the film, he and composer Kris Bowers traveled across the United States to create a new version of the national anthem, "The Star-Spangled Banner".
