Danny Franklin "DJ" Ware, Jr. (born February 18, 1985) is a former professional football player from the United States. He played as a running back in the National Football League (NFL). Ware played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs. He started his NFL career in 2007 with the Tennessee Titans.
DJ Ware is famous for winning two Super Bowl championships. He earned these rings with the New York Giants. Both wins were against the New England Patriots. He also played for the New York Jets and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Early Life and College Football Journey
DJ Ware grew up in Georgia. He went to Rockmart High School. There, he was a talented football player. After high school, he spent a year at Hargrave Military Academy. He continued to play football there. For the Tigers, he ran for 653 yards. He also scored four touchdowns.
Playing for the Georgia Bulldogs
From 2003 to 2006, Ware played college football. He was a running back for the University of Georgia. In 2003, he took a "redshirt" year. This meant he practiced but did not play in games. In 2004, he became a starter. This happened when another player, Kregg Lumpkin, got injured.
Ware stepped up in a big way. In his first start, he ran for 135 yards. He helped the Bulldogs win that game. For the 2004 season, he led his team in rushing. He gained 692 yards and scored 4 touchdowns. The Bulldogs finished that season with a great record.
In 2005, Ware helped the Georgia Bulldogs win the SEC championship. They finished the season with 10 wins and 3 losses. He continued to be an important player for his team. By the end of his college career, he had rushed for 1,486 yards. He also caught 28 passes for 357 yards.
Professional Football Career
DJ Ware joined the NFL in 2007. He was signed by the Tennessee Titans. Later that year, he also played for the New York Jets. His most notable time was with the New York Giants.
Time with the New York Giants
Ware played for the Giants from 2007 to 2011. He was a key part of their team. In 2009, he rushed for 73 yards. He also had three catches. In 2010, he played in 14 games. He ran for 73 yards and caught seven passes.
His biggest achievements came with the Giants. He helped them win two Super Bowls. These are the biggest games in American football.
Super Bowl Victories
