Daina Warren, born in 1974, is a Canadian contemporary artist and curator. She is a member of the Montana Akamihk Cree Nation in Maskwacis, Alberta. She is very passionate about showing and working with art by Indigenous artists.

About Daina Warren
Daina Warren studied art and curating. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2003. Later, she received a Master of Arts degree in Critical and Curatorial Studies in 2012.
In 2000, Daina had a special residency at grunt gallery in Vancouver, British Columbia. She stayed there as an associate curator and administrator until 2009. During this time, she organized many art shows. One show was a performance called Taking Stick Cabaret.
From 2011 to 2022, Daina worked as a curator and director at Urban Shaman Contemporary Aboriginal Art in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In 2015, she was chosen as one of four Indigenous women curators. They were part of a special trip to Australia for an international art program.
In April 2022, Daina moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico. She became the Program Manager for the Institute of American Indian Arts Research Center. In 2022, she also received the Manitoba Arts Award of Distinction. This award celebrates artists who have made a big impact on the arts in Manitoba.
