Dalton is a small town, called a borough, in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, USA. It's located in Northeastern Pennsylvania, about eight miles north of the city of Scranton. Dalton is part of a suburban area known as "the Abingtons."

Dalton is also about three miles north of Clarks Summit, which is a busy center for the Abington area. In 2020, about 1,283 people lived there.
