Damen Bell-Holter was not chosen in the 2013 NBA draft. This means no NBA team picked him right away. However, he soon began his professional career.
Early Career in Europe and the NBA
On August 7, 2013, Damen signed with Telekom Baskets Bonn. This is a basketball team in Germany. He was with them for the 2013–14 season. But he left the team on August 28, 2013.
Later that year, on September 30, 2013, he signed with the Boston Celtics. This was a big step for him. He played in three pre-season games for the Celtics. However, the Celtics decided to release him on October 26, 2013. Soon after, on October 31, 2013, the Maine Red Claws picked him up. He joined them as an affiliate player.
Playing in Hungary and Turkey
Damen continued his basketball journey in Europe. On July 29, 2014, he signed with BC Körmend. This team is from Hungary. He was supposed to play for them in the 2014–15 season. But he left before playing any games.
