Damon Kyle Wayans Jr. (born November 18, 1982) is an American actor and comedian. He is known for his roles in TV shows like Happy Endings and New Girl. He also appeared in movies such as Let's Be Cops and lent his voice to the character Wasabi in Big Hero 6.
Damon Wayans Jr. is the oldest son of the famous actor and comedian Damon Wayans. He is also part of the well-known Wayans family, which includes his uncles and aunt: Keenen Ivory Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Kim Wayans, and Marlon Wayans.

Damon Wayans Jr. was born on November 18, 1982, in Huntington, Vermont. His parents are Lisa Thorner and Damon Wayans. He has three younger brothers and sisters named Michael, Cara Mia, and Kyla.
His Acting Journey
Damon Wayans Jr. started acting in movies in 1994. His first role was in his father's film, Blankman, where he played a younger version of a character. Later, he appeared in his father's TV show My Wife and Kids. He also worked behind the scenes as a writer for that show.
He also acted in and wrote for a show called The Underground. Damon Wayans Jr. even performed stand-up comedy on Def Comedy Jam, where he received a great response from the audience. He played the main character, Thomas, in the Wayans family comedy movie Dance Flick.
Starring in Happy Endings
From 2011 to 2013, Wayans Jr. was one of the main actors in the TV comedy series Happy Endings. He played the character Brad Williams. The show was very popular with critics and had many dedicated fans. However, the show ended after its third season in 2013.
For his acting in Happy Endings, Damon Wayans Jr. was nominated for awards like "Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series."
Joining New Girl
In 2011, Damon Wayans Jr. was also cast in a new comedy show called New Girl. He played a supporting character named Coach. However, because Happy Endings was renewed for another season, he couldn't stay on New Girl at first. The creators of New Girl decided to continue the show without recasting his role in the first episode.
After Happy Endings finished, Wayans Jr. returned to New Girl in 2013 for several episodes. He later became a regular cast member for the fourth season. In 2018, he starred in another sitcom called Happy Together, but it was canceled after 13 episodes.
