Dan Land (born July 3, 1965) is an American football coach and former player. He played professionally in the National Football League (NFL). He was a safety for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Los Angeles / Oakland Raiders. He also played college football at Albany State University in Albany, Georgia. Later, he became the head coach at his old college team.

Dan Land started his football career playing in college. He played for the Albany State Golden Rams. After college, he joined the NFL.
Playing in the NFL
Dan Land played in the NFL for several years. He was a safety, which is a defensive position. Safeties help stop the other team from scoring.
