Danielle Nicole Panabaker (born September 19, 1987) is an American actress. She started acting when she was a teenager. She became well-known for her roles in Disney movies like Stuck in the Suburbs (2004) and Sky High (2005). She also starred in Read It and Weep (2006).
Danielle also appeared in the TV show Empire Falls (2005). She won three Young Artist Awards early in her career. These awards were for her roles in The Guardian (2004), Searching for David's Heart (2005), and Yours, Mine & Ours (2005).
She gained more attention for her role in the TV show Shark (2006–2008). Danielle is also known for starring in scary movies. These include Mr. Brooks (2007), Friday the 13th (2009), and The Crazies (2010). She also appeared in The Ward (2010) and Piranha 3DD (2012).
Later, Danielle had guest roles in shows like Necessary Roughness (2011–2013) and Bones (2012–2013). In 2014, she played Caitlin Snow on the TV show Arrow. She then became a main cast member in the spin-off series The Flash.
On The Flash, Danielle also plays Caitlin's other self, Killer Frost. This role led to more guest appearances on other superhero shows. These include Arrow, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow. For her role as Frost, Danielle has been nominated for five Teen Choice Awards. She won the 2019 Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television.

Early Life and Education
Danielle Panabaker was born in Augusta, Georgia. Her parents are Donna and Harold Panabaker. Her younger sister, Kay Panabaker, was also an actress. Now, Kay works as a zoologist, studying animals.
Because her father's job involved sales, the family moved a lot. They lived in South Carolina and Pennsylvania. For a short time, they also lived in Orange, Texas, when Danielle was in kindergarten.
Danielle found her love for acting in a summer camp theater class. She started acting in local plays when she was 12. She also began trying out for commercials.
In 2000, her family moved to Naperville, Illinois. Danielle went to Crone Middle School and Neuqua Valley High School. She was part of the speech team there. She finished high school when she was only 14 years old. Danielle also took ballet classes until she was fifteen.
In 2003, Danielle, her sister, and their mother moved to Los Angeles, California. They did this so Danielle could focus on her acting career. She studied acting at Glendale Community College. In 2005, she earned her associate degree, which is a two-year college degree. She was also on the national Dean's List for good grades.
In 2006, she started her final year at the University of California, Los Angeles. She graduated in June 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She was on the Dean's List again.
Acting Career
After her first commercials, Danielle got roles in TV shows. One of her first big roles was in The Guardian. She won a Young Artist Award for this part. She also appeared in other TV shows like Malcolm in the Middle, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Medium.
Danielle also starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Stuck in the Suburbs. She was in the well-known TV miniseries Empire Falls. She believes Empire Falls was a turning point in her career. It gave her the confidence to keep acting.
Besides TV, Danielle also performed in stage musicals. These included West Side Story and Pippin. In 2004, she starred in the movie "Searching for David's Heart." In 2005, Danielle was in two popular movies: Sky High and Yours, Mine & Ours. She also had a role in the movie Mr. Brooks. In the Disney Channel movie Read It and Weep, she played a character named Is. Is was an imaginary version of the main character, Jamie, who was played by Danielle's real sister, Kay Panabaker.
From 2006 to 2008, Danielle was a main character in the TV show Shark. She played Julie Stark, the daughter of the main character. In 2009, Danielle played Jenna in the horror movie Friday the 13th. She then starred in the films The Crazies and The Ward.
In 2011, Danielle played Katie Lapp in the Hallmark Channel movie The Shunning. This movie was based on a book. She was supposed to be in the sequel, The Confession, but she had other plans and couldn't do it. In 2013, she starred in another Hallmark Channel movie called Nearlyweds.
In 2014, Danielle starred in the science-fiction movie Time Lapse. She won an award for Best Actor/Actress at the 2014 London Independent Film Festival for her role in this film.
In April 2014, Danielle appeared as Caitlin Snow in an episode of the TV show Arrow. She then joined the main cast of the spin-off series The Flash, playing Caitlin Snow. Danielle also started directing episodes of The Flash. Her first time directing was for the episode "Godspeed" in the show's fifth season.
Charity Work
Danielle volunteers for several groups. These include the Art of Elysium, UNICEF, and Young Storytellers Foundation. In 2019, Danielle and other actors and writers visited U.S. military bases in Kuwait. They met with about 12,000 U.S. military members. This visit was part of DC Comics' 80th anniversary celebration for Batman.
Personal Life
In July 2016, Danielle announced that she was going to marry her boyfriend, Hayes Robbins. They got married on June 24, 2017. They have two children, one born in 2020 and another in 2022.
