Danielle Nicole Wyatt-Hodge (born 22 April 1991) is a talented English cricket player. She plays for the England team, as well as for Surrey, Southern Brave, and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Danni is known as an all-rounder, which means she is good at both batting and bowling. She bats right-handed and bowls right-arm off break. Danni first played for England against India in Mumbai on March 1, 2010.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge's Early Cricket Journey
Danni Wyatt-Hodge is a right-handed batter who can play at the top of the batting order or in the middle. She also bowls off break pitches. Before joining bigger teams, she played for Staffordshire Ladies and Meir Heath Women. She also played men's club cricket for her local team, Whitmore.
In 2010, Danni received a special contract called an MCC Young Cricketers contract. This helped her improve her cricket skills by training daily at the MCC. In April 2014, she was one of the first women players to get a central contract from the ECB. This showed how important she was to the team.

Danni was part of the England women's team that won the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup. This big tournament was held in England.
In December 2017, she was recognized as one of the best players. She was named in the ICC Women's T20I Team of the Year.
Amazing Batting Performances
In March 2018, Danni had an incredible game during a tournament in India. She scored her second WT20I century (100 runs or more) in a match against India. Her amazing score of 124 runs helped England achieve the highest successful chase ever in a WT20I match. This means they scored more runs than any other team had to win a game in this format.
With this century, Danni became only the second female cricketer to score two centuries in WT20Is. Her score of 124 runs was also the second highest individual score in a WT20I at that time. It was also the highest score by an opening batter in a WT20I match. She also hit one of the fastest centuries in WT20I history, reaching 100 runs in just 52 balls.
International Tournaments and Teams
In October 2018, Danni was chosen for England's team for the 2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20 tournament. This competition took place in the West Indies.
In November 2018, she joined the Melbourne Renegades for the 2018–19 Women's Big Bash League season in Australia. In February 2019, she received another full central contract from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). This showed her continued importance to the national team. In June 2019, she was named in England's squad to play against Australia for the Women's Ashes.
In December 2019, Danni scored her first century in a WODI match against Pakistan in Malaysia. During the same tour, she also played her 100th WT20I match, which is a huge milestone for any cricketer. In January 2020, she was selected for England's squad for the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Australia.
On June 18, 2020, Danni was part of a group of 24 players who started training for international women's matches after the COVID-19 pandemic.
In February 2021, she toured New Zealand with the England team. They won the WODI series 2–1 and the WT20I series 3–0. She was also chosen by Southern Brave for the first season of The Hundred, a new cricket competition.
In December 2021, Danni was named in England's squad for their tour to Australia to play for the Women's Ashes. In February 2022, she was part of England's team for the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. In April 2022, Southern Brave picked her again for the 2022 season of The Hundred.
In July 2022, she was selected for England's team for the cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
In June 2023, Danni was again named in an England Test squad for the 2023 Women's Ashes series against Australia. She made her Test debut in that match on June 22, 2023.
She was also part of the England squad for the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup.
On October 30, 2024, Danni was traded to Royal Challengers Bangalore for the 2025 season of the WPL. She had been picked by UP Warriorz in the 2024 auction but did not play for them.
Wyatt-Hodge was named in England's squad for their multi-format tour to South Africa in November 2024.
She joined the newly professional Surrey Women's team for the 2025 season. Wyatt-Hodge was also named in the England squad for the 2025 Women's Ashes series in Australia.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge's Personal Life
Danni Wyatt-Hodge has a nickname, "Waggy." She is a big fan of football and has supported Port Vale F.C. since she was eight years old. She used to go to matches at Vale Park with her grandfather. On June 10, 2024, Danni married Georgie Hodge, who is a football agent. Their wedding took place at the Chelsea Old Town Hall in London. They had been together since 2019 and got engaged in early 2023 in South Africa.
