Darius Reynolds (born April 4, 1989) is a former American football player. He was a wide receiver, which means he caught passes from the quarterback. Darius played in the Arena Football League (AFL) for several teams. These teams included the Iowa Barnstormers, San Jose SaberCats, and Philadelphia Soul.
He also played college football at Reedley College and Iowa State University. Reynolds was briefly with the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League (NFL). Later, he played for the Guangzhou Power in the China Arena Football League (CAFL).

Early Life and High School Sports
Darius Reynolds grew up loving sports. He played football, basketball, and ran track and field. He went to C. D. Hylton High School in Woodbridge, Virginia.
In high school, Darius was a quarterback for his football team. As a senior, he threw for 1,500 yards and scored 20 touchdowns. In his junior year, he helped his team, the Bulldogs, achieve a great 12-1 record. They even made it to the state semifinals!
College Football Journey
After high school, Darius went to Reedley College. There, he continued to play football and also participated in track and field. He played quarterback for the Reedley College Tigers.
In 2007, his freshman year, he had an impressive season. He passed for 1,752 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also ran for 749 yards and scored 11 touchdowns. The Tigers finished that year with an 8-3 record.
Later, Darius transferred to Iowa State University. He joined the Iowa State Cyclones football team. In 2011, his senior year, he was a top player for the Cyclones. He led the team with 43 catches, 695 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns. By the end of his college career at Iowa State, he had caught 81 passes for 1,050 yards and nine touchdowns.
Professional Football Career
After college, Darius Reynolds hoped to play in the NFL. He was not chosen in the 2012 NFL Draft. However, the Green Bay Packers signed him on May 2, 2012. Unfortunately, he was released a short time later on May 16, 2012.
Playing in the Arena Football League
Darius then joined the Iowa Barnstormers on July 2, 2012. He quickly became a key player. In 2014, he was named Second-team All-Arena. This means he was one of the best players in the league that year. He had 126 catches, 1,884 receiving yards, and 39 touchdowns.
On January 12, 2015, Darius moved to the San Jose SaberCats. That year, his team won ArenaBowl XXVIII. They beat the Jacksonville Sharks on August 29, 2015.
In 2016, he joined the Philadelphia Soul. This team also had great success. On August 26, 2016, the Soul won ArenaBowl XXIX. They defeated the Arizona Rattlers with a score of 56–42.
Darius continued to excel with the Soul. In 2017, he earned First-team All-Arena honors. This meant he was considered one of the very best players in the league. On August 26, 2017, the Soul won another championship, ArenaBowl XXX. They beat the Tampa Bay Storm 44–40.
Playing in China
Darius was also chosen to play in the China Arena Football League (CAFL). The Guangzhou Power picked him in the fifth round of their 2017 draft.
