Darius Reynolds (born April 4, 1989) is a former professional American football player. He was a talented wide receiver, which means he was great at catching the ball. He played for several teams, including the Green Bay Packers, Iowa Barnstormers, San Jose SaberCats, and Philadelphia Soul.

Early Life and High School Sports
Darius Reynolds grew up in Woodbridge, Virginia. He went to C. D. Hylton High School. While there, he was a star athlete in three different sports. He played football, basketball, and also competed in track and field.
In football, Darius played as a quarterback for the C.D. Hylton Bulldogs. During his senior year, he threw for 1,500 yards and scored 20 touchdowns. In his junior year, he helped lead his team to an amazing 12-1 record. They even made it to the state semifinals!
College Football Journey
After high school, Darius started his college football career at Reedley College. He also participated in track and field there. At Reedley, he continued to play quarterback.
In 2007, his freshman year, he had a fantastic season. He passed for 1,752 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also showed off his running skills, rushing for 749 yards and 11 touchdowns. His team, the Reedley Tigers, finished that year with a strong 8-3 record.
Later, Darius transferred to Iowa State University to play for the Iowa State Cyclones. He switched from quarterback to wide receiver. In 2011, his senior year, he was a top player for the Cyclones. He led the team with 43 catches, 695 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns. By the end of his time at Iowa State, he had caught 81 passes for 1,050 yards and scored nine touchdowns.
Professional Football Career
After college, Darius Reynolds hoped to join the NFL. He signed with the Green Bay Packers on May 2, 2012. However, he was released a short time later on May 16, 2012.
Playing in the Arena Football League
Darius then joined the Arena Football League (AFL). This league plays a faster, indoor version of football.
- Iowa Barnstormers (2012–2014): He signed with the Iowa Barnstormers on July 2, 2012. In 2014, he had an incredible season. He caught 126 passes for 1,884 yards and scored 39 touchdowns! Because of his amazing performance, he was named Second-team All-Arena.
- San Jose SaberCats (2015): In 2015, Darius joined the San Jose SaberCats. That year, his team won the championship, ArenaBowl XXVIII! They beat the Jacksonville Sharks on August 29, 2015.
- Philadelphia Soul (2016–2019): On February 5, 2016, Darius moved to the Philadelphia Soul. He had a very successful time with this team.
- In 2016, the Soul won ArenaBowl XXIX by beating the Arizona Rattlers 56–42.
- In 2017, he was recognized as a top player, earning First-team All-Arena honors.
- The Soul won another championship in 2017, ArenaBowl XXX! They defeated the Tampa Bay Storm 44–40. This means Darius won three ArenaBowl championships in a row with two different teams!
Playing in China
Darius was also chosen to play for the Guangzhou Power in the CAFL. This happened in the fifth round of the 2017 CAFL Draft.
