Darrell Daniels is an American professional football player. He plays as a tight end, which is a special position in football. Darrell was born on November 22, 1994. He played college football for the Washington Huskies. After college, he joined the Indianapolis Colts in 2017.
Early Life and High School Football
Darrell Daniels grew up in Oakley, California. He played high school football at Freedom High School. In 2011, during his junior year, he played as a wide receiver and linebacker. He was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Bay Valley Athletic League (BVAL). That year, he caught 30 passes for 426 yards and scored 7 touchdowns.
Senior Year Achievements
In his senior year, 2012, Darrell had an amazing season. He caught 54 passes for 947 yards and scored 20 receiving touchdowns. He also ran with the ball 40 times for 332 rushing yards. On defense, playing as a defensive back, he made 38 tackles and caught 2 interceptions. His great performance earned him several awards. He was named CalHiSports.com Third-team All-State and MaxPreps Second-team Division I All-State. He also shared the BVAL Co-MVP award. Darrell even played in the 2013 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl, which features top high school players.

Indianapolis Colts (First Time)
Darrell Daniels signed with the Indianapolis Colts on May 4, 2017. He joined them as an undrafted free agent, meaning he wasn't chosen in the draft but was still signed by a team. In Week 3 of the 2017 season, during a game against the Cleveland Browns, he made his first ever NFL reception. It was a six-yard catch.
Seattle Seahawks
