Darrell Daniels (born November 22, 1994) is an American football player. He plays as a tight end. He is currently a free agent, meaning he is not signed with a team right now. Daniels played college football for the Washington Huskies. After college, he joined the Indianapolis Colts in 2017.

Early Life and High School Football
Darrell Daniels grew up in Oakley, California. He played high school football at Freedom High School. He was a very versatile player. In 2011, as a junior, he played both wide receiver and linebacker. He caught 30 passes for 426 yards and scored 7 touchdowns that year. He was even named the co-MVP of his league!
In his senior year (2012), Daniels continued to shine. He caught 54 passes for 947 yards and scored 20 touchdowns. He also ran the ball for 332 yards. On defense, he made 38 tackles and had 2 interceptions as a defensive back. His amazing performance earned him several honors, including being named to the All-State team. He also played in the 2013 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl, which features top high school players.
College Career at Washington
Daniels played college football for the Washington Huskies from 2013 to 2016. When he first started, he was a wide receiver. However, he switched to playing tight end during his first year.
During his time at Washington, he played in 49 games. He became a starter in 18 of those games. Over his college career, he caught 47 passes for a total of 728 yards. He also scored 5 touchdowns. In his senior year (2016), he had his best season, catching 17 passes for 307 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was recognized for his strong play, earning an Honorable Mention for the All-Pac-12 team.
Professional Football Journey
After college, Darrell Daniels entered the 2017 NFL draft. He was not chosen in the draft, but he was still able to sign with an NFL team. This is called being an undrafted free agent.
Indianapolis Colts
Daniels signed with the Indianapolis Colts on May 4, 2017. He made his first official NFL catch in a game against the Cleveland Browns. It was a six-yard catch that helped his team win 31–28.
Seattle Seahawks
In 2018, Daniels was traded to the Seattle Seahawks. He spent some time on their practice squad and was also promoted to the active roster. This means he was sometimes ready to play in games and sometimes practiced with the team.
Arizona Cardinals
