David Barrett (born December 22, 1977) is an American former professional football player. He played as a cornerback for nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL). David played college football for the Arkansas Razorbacks. He was chosen by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2000 NFL draft. Barrett also played for the New York Jets.

David Barrett grew up and went to Osceola High School. While there, he was a very good football player.
College Football Career
After high school, David Barrett played college football at the University of Arkansas. He was a key player for the Razorbacks. During his time in college, he made 176 tackles. He also caught 7 interceptions and caused 3 fumbles. David studied architecture while in college.

David Barrett was drafted into the NFL in 2000. He was picked by the Arizona Cardinals.
