David Denman (born July 25, 1973) is an American actor. He is well-known for playing Roy Anderson in the popular TV show The Office. This role helped him become famous.
David Denman also appeared in many movies and other TV shows. Some of his main TV roles include Mike Reilly in Traffic Light and Frank Sheehan in Mare of Easttown. He has also starred in films like Brightburn (2019) and Greenland (2020).

Early Life and Education
David Denman was born in Newport Beach, California. As a kid, he moved around a lot within Southern California. His family even lived on a farm in Sequim, Washington, for two years when he was nine.
He went to Fountain Valley High School. After high school, he studied acting at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.
College and Acting School
David spent two years at Orange Coast College. There, he acted in and directed over twenty plays. He then went on to study at the famous Juilliard School. He earned a special degree called a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Juilliard's Drama Division.
Acting Career Highlights
David Denman started his movie career in the football comedy The Replacements in 2000. In this film, he played a deaf tight-end. He has been in many other movies since then.
Famous Movie Roles
Some of his other movie roles include Big Fish, Smart People, and Fair Game. In 2013, he appeared in After Earth and Jobs. He also starred in 13 Hours in 2016. More recently, he was in Puzzle (2018), Brightburn (2019), and Greenland (2020). He also appeared in The Equalizer 3 in 2023.

Personal Life
In September 2014, David Denman married actress Mercedes Mason. They have two children together. Their first child, Caius, was born in January 2018. Their second child, Sagan, was born in May 2021.
Outside of acting, David Denman enjoys being a triathlete. This means he competes in races that combine swimming, biking, and running.
