Dehl Berti (born January 17, 1921 – died November 26, 1991) was an actor from the Chiricahua Apache nation. He was well-known for acting in many Western movies and TV shows. One of his most famous roles was playing John Taylor in the TV series Paradise, which aired from 1988 to 1991. In this show, he acted alongside Lee Horsley.

Early Life and Acting Start
Dehl Berti began acting in the 1950s. He appeared in many different television shows. He was often cast in Westerns, which were very popular at the time. These shows told stories about cowboys, Native Americans, and life in the American West.
Famous TV Roles
Dehl Berti appeared in many popular TV Westerns. Some of these included Bonanza, Bat Masterson, and Gunsmoke. In 1960, he played Joe Maybe in an episode of Cheyenne called "The Long Rope."
Later, in 1963, he played an Indian character named Little Buffalo in The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters. This show starred a young actor named Kurt Russell. In 1982, Dehl Berti also played One Feather in the TV series Born to the Wind.
Voice Acting and Later Work
Besides acting on screen, Dehl Berti also used his voice for a special role. Since 1982, you can hear him as the voice of Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce people. This is part of The American Adventure show at Walt Disney World's Epcot in Florida.
His very last acting job was in a 1990 episode of the popular sitcom Saved by the Bell.
